Commercial electric hot water boilers? Commercial electric hot water boilers are available form 50kW all the way up to 1 Megawatt output. At these kW outputs the boilers are powered by a 3 Phase / 400 Volt electrical supply and can be used to not only do the wet heating system, but also to do domestic hot water via a calorifier or cylinder.
Wet and dry underfloor heating. The most basic question you need to address is whether you will be opting for a wet or dry system. A wet system uses pipes under the floor that are connected to your central heating to carry hot water around your home to heat the space.
Another variable is whether a hot water storage cylinder is built into the system or not. In the UK, there are several brands that sell electric combi boilers. See some of them listed below. Comet Boiler Comet electric combi boilers are offered in 3 different versions with various energy output sizes.
Electric underfloor heating. Electric underfloor heating uses electric wires that heat up when electricity is provided. In new builds a screed finish is usually used and for existing builds electric matting or tiles are used. Electric underfloor heating is often preferable for existing builds as it is easier to install than water pipes.
